The same thing happened to me. I had so many thoughts before visiting Delhi. But when I finally went there and explored the city myself, my experience was completely different and even more beautiful than I had imagined.

Red Fort (Lal Kila)

This magnificent fort, which was built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, was the most important seat of Mughal emperors for a period of about 200 years. The Red Fort, which made up of red sandstone, is an exemplary example of Mughal architecture and a rich part of Indian history.
Rashtrapati Bhavan
Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India, is situated in New Delhi. Originally called the Viceroy’s House, Edwin Lutyens designed the structure, which took 19 years to complete. Construction started in 1911. It feels vibrant and patriotic during the day. A serene yet proud atmosphere is created at night by the cold breeze and bright lights.
Qutab Minar
I was genuinely stunned when I first went to Qutub Minar, One of the most famous place to visit in New Delhi. The monument, which stands 73 meters tall, appears even larger in person than it does in photographs. I received the impression that I had entered a another historical period as soon as I walked into the facility.
Qutb-ud-din Aibak built Qutub Minar in 1193, and Iltutmish completed it. I was even more impressed of its construction after knowing that it has existed nearly 800 years.
The calming environment around the monument was one thing I truly loved. The complex’s appeal is enhanced by its verdant grounds and historic ruins. I also noticed the well-known Iron Pillar, which is almost a thousand years old and famous for never rusting.

When I Experience the places to visit in New Delhi that I highlight above, I feel that Delhi is much more than just a simple tour. It is a city with history, emotions, and unforgettable memories. . When I saw the beauty of Lotus Temple, I experienced a magic of calm that is hard to express. And when I stood at India Gate and thought about our soldiers and their sacrifice , tears filled in my eyes but at the same time i felt very proud.
